Summer wedding flower inspiration
Summer is of course the best time for flowers, lots of varieties are in season and naturally at their best and most beautiful. Some of our favourite summer wedding flowers include peonies, stocks, hydrangeas, sweet peas, dahlias, astible and nigella. We have pulled together a selection of some stunning photography from a range of “real weddings” we worked on last year. Peony POWER
Peonies have been popular with brides and florist in recent years and no surprise why! Peonies come in some amazing colours… coral, raspberry, blush and pure white. When fully open they are an amazing size which make them a winner all round – perfect for bouquets, table arrangements and larger installations such as an arch. We just love their fluffy texture, there is really nothing else quite like them. What makes peonies extra special is that they are only in season for a short time early summer – late April through to early July. So, if you are getting married during this time it is almost essential to have them.

Summer wedding flower inspiration – flower arch
The coral colour and large size of peonies worked amazingly in this bespoke installation in a private garden. We combined peonies with dahlias, astible, stocks and rose on a very full bed of foliage.
