Emma and Joe wished for a simple, elegant and classy Wedding Day. Having been together for over 12 years, they had their dream day at the Ned Hotel in London.
Emma said she was most looking forward to getting married to her best friend as well as wearing her dream wedding shoes!
Joe asked Emma out in a card on Valentine’s day at the Odeon Cinema in Chelmsford, watching a film called ‘He’s just not that into you’… clearly something worked.
ABOUT THE NED HOTEL
The Ned is a stunning and historic venue for a wedding. Set in the former Midland Bank building, The building was originally designed by Sir Edwin ‘Ned’ Lutyens in 1924 and has nine restaurants, 250 bedrooms channelling 1920s and 1930s design. It has an impressive array of room options including a late-night bar in the old bank vault!

FLOWERS
Emma & Joe always wanted a black-tie style affair with white flowers and candles everywhere. We used a stunning autumnal mix of white blooms and foliage, which included roses, hydrangeas, David Austin roses, brunia, astrantia, dahlias, and a mix of foliage including the beautiful and fragrant eucalyptus.
The fireplace had a large stunning flower installation. In line with the simple white flowers. This was all fresh foliage and flowers, foam-free, and with no single-use plastic. For impact, we added lots of large-headed hydrangeas, dahlias, and roses.

CEREMONY
With the autumn light shining through, Emma and Joe wanted a cosy feel and the room to be lit by candles. The aisle and the fireplace were lined with over a hundred candles in cylinder vases and installed a large floral arrangement on the huge mantelpiece that framed the fireplace.

REVIEW FROM BRIDE & GROOM
It looked absolutely beautiful there yesterday. EVERYONE was complimentary about the flowers and couldn’t get over how amazing it all looked. You literally took the worry off my shoulders, and you just knew exactly what I wanted and made my dream come true!! Thank you so, so, so much! It’s only a small message of what I wanted to say but just needed to tell you and thank you so so much from me and Joe!!
