We all have such a good time making wreaths together and getting in the festive spirit. We have excellent reviews and many people come back and see us year after year.
Step into the festive season with a hands-on Christmas wreath making workshop designed to spark creativity and a bit of seasonal magic.
Join us for a relaxed, welcoming session where you’ll learn how to craft a beautiful, natural wreath from scratch. Using fresh foliage, seasonal textures, and a carefully curated selection of decorations, you’ll be guided step-by-step to create something truly personal for your door or table.
No experience is needed—just bring yourself and enjoy the process. We’ll cover everything from building a strong base and layering greenery to adding colour, texture, and those finishing touches that make your wreath stand out. Along the way, you’ll pick up professional tips and techniques you can use year after year.
Expect a cosy atmosphere, festive music, and plenty of inspiration. Whether you come alone or with friends, it’s a chance to slow down, get creative, and start the Christmas season in the best possible way.
All materials and tools are provided, and you’ll leave with a stunning handmade wreath ready to take pride of place at home.
Step One: Choose a date, session time and location
Barleylands Craft Village
This location has a lot to offer and is ideal for a festive day out. There is free car park, craft shops to get some interesting and different Christmas gifts and your choice of 2 places to get brunch, lunch or dinner.
Both places offer “afternoon Tea” reservation is advisable. From Tip Tree you can grab a takeaway coffee to bring along with you.
Kindly note we DO NOT have facilities in this location to provide any refreshments. But you are more than welcome to bring your own. Takeaways are available from Tiptree or if it takes your fancy bring along some Prosecco.
The session last for 2 hours and this whole time is dedicated to wreath making.
You will find us in FUNCTION ROOM ONE. Located upstairs above Tip Tree Tea Rooms. There is a lift.

Carvers Farm Business Park
Come and visit us at our HQ for wreath making. The session last for 2 hours and this whole time is dedicated to wreath making. At our premises we are able to serve you with Tea, coffee or a glass of Prosecco.

Step Two: Choose your Wreath design
A bag will be prepared for you with your colour options. Every colour combination receives Pine Cones, Cinnamon sticks and orange slices. Your colour combination mainly refers to the selection of baubles. If you choose Natural instead of baubles you get dried Orange and Lime whole fruits. We have a selection of ribbons to choose on the day if you wish to add one. We do try and cater for everyone but it you have a special request let us know in advance or if you are matching it to a particualr design then please feel free to bring along your accessories and use in additon to ours.
Christmas Wreath Making Workshop: What to expect on the day
Part One:
Approx 1 hour. Working from a mossed ring we teach you how to attach foliage to the wreath. We use a variety of seasonal foliage including includes Christmas tree pine/Spruce along with other seasonal long lasting foliages to make it more interesting.
Part Two:
Approx 1 hour. Attach the decorations. We have a variety of colour options to choose from to match your decor at home, including a “natural” look. So you can add and as much or as little bling as you like. In all colour combinations there will be pine cones, cinnamon sticks, dried fruits. If you wish to add bling and colour we also have a baubles and some dyed foliage.

You can reserve your place on our Christmas wreath making workshop via our website. Our workshops are friendly and informal people feel comfortable coming on their own and making new friends or coming with friends and family or both!

If you wish to buy a Christmas wreath making workshop as a gift we do have physical GIFT VOUCHER that we can post to you or directly to your recipient.
Is the wreath making workshop suitable for children?
We have children from ages 10 and upwards join in and get involved and they have made some amazing wreaths! They can come and help you or make their own wreath. If they are helping, please do let us know as space is limited so we need to ensure there is enough space to accommodate them. Please note, there is no discount for children as the same amount of materials is allocated.
Group Bookings?
For group bookings of 10 or more please do get in touch. Discounts available in our group sessions OR we can offer private exclusive workshop hire OR potentially come to your location. Please get in touch as soon as possible to discuss dates for this as we do get very busy during this period.
