About Gaynes Park

Surrounded by British countryside and woodland, this superb, family-owned country wedding venue is ideal for couples seeking a secluded, exclusive-use venue to host their celebrations from the wedding ceremony through to the reception and overnight accommodation. Jennie and Luke said they chose this venue because they “loved the atmosphere and greenery”. We are very proud to be one of the recommended suppliers at Gaynes Park.

Lauren & Lewis

They have been together for over 12 years. They were most looking forward to marrying each other, having a glass of Prosecco and hitting dance floor!!

Bridal Flowers

Lauren’s bouquet was a dreamy mix of white and green flowers and include peonies and Roses. Her bridesmaids had a similar boquet to Lauren just on a smaller scale.

Buttonholes

Roses are always a good choice for buttonholes. They are elegant and timeless and last well out of water. For this wedding we chose Ivory rose framed with a little green leaf for the boys and for the Groom we added a smaller rose along with the larger Rose with foliage.

Ceremony flowers

The Orangery is a beautiful setting for the official ceremony. It lies at one end of the Victorian Walled Garden, where roses, mature trees, herbaceous borders and a charming wrought-iron pavilion provide a romantic backdrop for your Essex civil wedding, drinks reception and those all-important photographs.

All the flowers in the ceremony were then used as part of the wedding breakfast ensuring there use and beauty was maximised throughout the day. The white plinths and stone urns make a beautiful impactful backdrop framing the ceremony table. We used a stunning mix of large hydrangeas, Roses, Peonies, snapdragons.

Multi Purpose arrangements

Having both the ceremony and reception at the same venue means that we can design florals that work in both spaces. In the ceremony area first and then transferable to the reception area after both top table and guest tables. This avoids waste ♻️ and stretches your styling budget that bit further. Win Win!

Here’s how we re-purposed:-

The flowers on the ceremony table were transferred to the top table.

The flowers on the back wall were transferred to the guest tables

The floral toppers on the stone urns was placed on the guest tables on tall gold stands.

The Wedding Breakfast

The Mill Barn is an impressive brick and beamed Listed wedding barn. The barn is supported by four great tree trunks and has floor to ceiling windows overlooking the pretty courtyard, allowing sunlight to flood in. The neutral décor lends itself to a variety of wedding themes and colours.

Lauren & Lewis chose a mix of high and low centerpeices for their round tables. The high designs were on a gold frame that is above eye levels so it thoughtfully does not interrupt the conversation flow. The low designs was a romantic table scape of bud vases with pretty florals and candles.
