Apton Hall is an exclusive, award winning Wedding & Events Venue set in the idyllic Essex countryside. Apton Hall’s rustic charm is maintained throughout its courtyard buildings, accommodation and Grade II listed Honeymoon Suite.
Nicola & Abban
Nicola and Abban wanted a chic wedding with rustic, farmhouse vibes to reflect the couples love for the outdoors and doing things slightly differently. The happy couple loved Apton Hall as it holds a lot of character which felt like a perfect place for them to get married. The couple was most excited to bring both families together to celebrate the day. Nicola and Abban had been together for 8 years and met on a night out in a bar on the hottest day of the summer, the couple never looked back since.
Bridal Flowers
Such a pretty colour palette and lots of our favourites here including Roses, astible, astrantia and Eucalytpus. The bridesmaids had a similar but smaller bouquet to the bride.
Buttonholes
Roses are always a good choice for buttonholes. They are elegant and timeless and last well out of water. Abban chose Ivory Rose for his buttonhole, framed with a little green leaf and matching the bridal bouquet. We deliver our buttonholes in a box along with some instructions on how to attach the buttonholes.
Apton Hall Wedding Flowers
Ceremony Flowers
Such a beautiful space to get married at Apton Hall. Nicola & Abban chose to have foliage suspended from the gorgeous chandelier with matching foliage tied to the aisle chairs. The ceremony table design works perfectly on the top table too. The bonus of having the ceremony and the reception all in the same venue make moving floral decors quite simple. Without the guests even knowing.
The Wedding Breakfast
Nicole and Abban sourced their own Jam Jars and little bud vases which we filled with a lovely mix of fresh flowers matching the bridal flowers. The benefit of sourcing your own vases means you can add your own personal touch and can gift them to your guests in the vase. The logs slices added a central base for the flowers to sit on complimented the rustic barn.
