About Friern Manor
Friern Manor is Set within four acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, this classic Georgian Manor has been owned by the family for the last quarter of a century and over that time our reputation for exceptional service, friendliness, and attention to detail has grown and grown. Friern Manor is the perfect venue for every type of event, including wedding ceremonies and receptions. Our studio is located just 5 minutes from Friern Manor.
The Couple
Jane & Ken have been together for 10 years this years. They have two beautiful daughters and love life as a family. They always knew we was going to get married, but it was never on the top of the priority list. Ken really thought about the proposal and the timing and location was just perfect for us and it was so special and authentic. We actually met via Ken’s sister; Jane was on a night out with his sister and some of our friends and Ken saw a picture of me and asked his sister to set him up and here we are!
Dream wedding day
Clean lines, white, fresh with greenery, black tie for the groomsmen, elegant and classic. Jane loved the idea of black tie for the groomsmen which compliments her vision of the white flowers and greenery alongside her wedding dress. I wanted a timeless and classic wedding that I feel wouldn’t date when I looked back on the pictures in years to come. We think she nailed it!
Bridal Flowers
So very elegant and chic. Let the roses do the talking… Just ivory long stemmed roses for the bride. Roses and Gyspophila spheres for the bridal bouquets. Little Gypsophila bunches for the flower girls.
The flowergirls had fresh gypsophila bouquets.
Buttonholes
Roses are always a good choice for buttonholes. They are elegant and timeless and last well out of water. For this wedding we chose Ivory rose framed with a little green leaf for the boys and for the Groom we added a little gypsophila along with the rose and foliage.
Ceremony flowers
For Jane and Kenny’s ceremony, we installed our silk flower pillars for the WOW factor.
The aisle adorned with delicate bunches of gypsophila tied to the aisle chair with large ribbons.
Multi Purpose arrangements
Having both the ceremony and reception at the same venue means that we can design florals that work in both spaces. In the ceremony area first and then transferable to the reception area after both top table and guest tables. This avoids waste ♻️ and stretches your styling budget that bit further. Win Win!
Here’s how we re-purposed:-
- Our flower pillars were repurposed by placing them behind the top table for the reception dinner.
- The Ceremony table was transferred to the top table
- The Pew ends were added in vases in and aroud the orangery in vases.
The Wedding Breakfast
For the top table, a stunning arrangement of white roses, gypsophila, and soft foliage completed the look.
The low level designs combined pretty florals with candles and glassware. You can’t go wrong with that combination!
