The Couple

Christina & Andrew met on Bumble dating app in 2019, very soon they were in ‘lockdown’ together! They were most looking forward to having everyone that they love in one place together.

Bridal Flowers

Christina & Andrew chose Ivory, White and green as there colour scheme for this very chic summer wedding at Gaynes Park. Christina’s bouquet was oversided style incorporating lots Roses, hydrangeas and tiny whispers of Gypsophila. For the bridesmaids Christina chose a design similar to her bouquet, just on a smaller scale with Roses, Hydrangeas, gypsophila and a little Eucalyptus. This looked stunning against their dark blue dresses.

The flowergirls had fresh gypsophila flower crowns and basket of petals to throw as confetti.

Buttonholes

Roses are always a good choice for buttonholes. They are elegant and timeless and last well out of water. For this wedding we chose Ivory rose framed with a little green leaf for the boys and for the Groom we added a little gypsophila along with the rose and foliage.

Ceremony flowers

The Orangery is a beautiful setting for the official ceremony. It lies at one end of the Victorian Walled Garden, where roses, mature trees, herbaceous borders and a charming wrought-iron pavilion provide a romantic backdrop for your Essex civil wedding, drinks reception and those all-important photographs.

The orangery, Gaynes Park Wedding

Our white plinths were used in the ceremony room with large flower arrangements of elegant white roses, hydrangeas, carnations and gypsophila with foliage, on white urns. The florals from the ceremony were then used on the guest tables after.

Multi Purpose arrangements

Having both the ceremony and reception at the same venue means that we can design florals that work in both spaces. In the ceremony area first and then transferable to the reception area after both top table and guest tables. This avoids waste ♻️ and stretches your styling budget that bit further. Win Win!

Here’s how we re-purposed:-

Two of the high table arrangements were used in the orangery first behind the ceremony table using our hired plinths and urns. Making a dreamy backdrop for your photos. .

The florals in vases and candles from the low table designs were used on the back wall.

The same design was used on both the ceremony table and top table.

The Wedding Breakfast

The Mill Barn is an impressive brick and beamed Listed wedding barn. The barn is supported by four great tree trunks and has floor to ceiling windows overlooking the pretty courtyard, allowing sunlight to flood in. The neutral décor lends itself to a variety of wedding themes and colours.

Christina & Andrew chose a combination of high and low level designs for the guest tables. A mix of high and low is always a winner and gives so much more interest in the room, having pretty florals above and below the eyeline. The High level designs were used in the ceremony area first as “Statement florals” making the perfect picture backdrop and focal point for all the wedding guests.

The low level designs combined pretty florals with candles and glassware. You can’t go wrong with that combination!

What the Bride & Groom said…

“SO GLAD WE CHOSE YOU” Thank you for all of the absolutely beautiful flowers. I’m so glad we chose you. All of the guests commented on them and they were arguing over who got to take some home at the end of the night haha! “
