The Great Lodge Wedding Flowers
Great Lodge is a beautiful rural estate in North West Essex, which has been farmed by the Smith/Jordan family for over 100 years. In 1989 Alan Jordan planted the Bardfield Vineyard which produces a range of award-winning wines. In 2014 his daughter Rebecca opened the magnificent Grade 1 Anne of Cleves Barn as a wedding and event venue and more recently we have converted the Great Lodge Barns into stylish holiday accommodation.
The Wedding
Claire and Sam met 8 years ago on holiday in Hvar, Croatia. When lockdown hit they decided to move in together.
They wanted their wedding to be laid back, rustic, spring-like, English country garden & fun!
They organised the added surprise of allowing the guests to feed the venue Alpacas
They couldn’t wait to see the gardens in full bloom and how these look alongside the amazing floral displays… especially the epic flower arch!!

Suzanne and her team did the most incredible job for with our wedding flowers in May 2022 at Great Lodge. She went above and beyond to find solutions for us to maximise the way we used the floral arrangements and had such creative ideas.
We had SO many compliments about our flowers and I could not have loved them any more. They were so incredibly beautiful! Absolutely recommend Suzanne.
